Lance ACORD
A native of Northern California, Lance studied photography and filmmaking at the San Francisco Art Institute.
His first feature film director of photography credit, Buffalo 66, was noticed for its striking cinematography.
The film put Lance on the map as a visual storyteller to watch, and he followed up with Spike Jonze's Being John Malkovich.
Lance is now one of Hollywood's most sought-after shooters, with D.P. credits for Oscar winners Adaptation and Lost in Translation, among many others.
In 1999 Lance crossed over into directing with a stunning beauty spot for Gucci,
“Rush” followed by Adidas, Audi, Nike, Mercedes to name a few. Awards and notices include three Gold Lions at Cannes.
He lives now is Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
