Lars TOVIK

Lars was born in Trondheim, Norway in 1976.

After finishing Film School he worked on several Norwegian TV-Formats. In
2001 he moved to Copenhagen where he worked as a First Assistant Director
in the Film Industry.

In 2004 Lars moved to London. He was quickly picked up to work as an
in-house Director, and later Creative Director,
for the European Broadcaster Viasat.

In 2006 Lars was poached by National Geographic to direct commercials,
idents, and promos. His work with them won him a ton of awards; receiving
ten in 2008 alone - including seven Gold Promax Awards.

He’s got a dramatic filmic quality to his work. The commercials have
striking compositions and scale, mixed with clever visual effects and
understated performances.

Lars is based in London and directs Commercials all over Europe.
